Today, pictures of famous athletes and movie personalities adorn the internet with their puppies. National Puppy Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the number of puppies that need to be adopted into good homes. Sure they’ll chew up your shoes, but it’s worth it.
Something else to celebrate and this probably brought about by the snack industry is National Chip & Dip Day. That’s corn chips and tortilla chips. Not to be confused with National Potato Chip Day which was celebrated on March 14th.
Our favorites are blue corn chips made with sesame seeds dipped in smashed avocado mixed with salsa. Other favorites are cheese dip or sour cream dips like French Onion Dip.
