CREDIT TO BENTON COUNTY ENTERPRISE

In late session Monday eve, August 17th, Warsaw’s Board of Alderpersons declined to accept a DNR grant (Department of Natural Resources) which would have financed equipment allowing the City to continue fluoridating its water supply. Instead, the group decided to discontinue adding fluoride to its water, as soon as present limited supply of that compound is exhausted. The feeling among Board members was that there is already some natural fluoride in City water supplies, and ample other fluoride sources available to the public. The City will request DNR approval of its decision, but is not expecting any objection.
