take a bite out of blight logoBy Donna Westfall – May 29, 2016 – In his steadfast, continual effort to clean-up Del Norte County, Supervisor 1st District, Roger Gitlin, put together volunteers to clean up the Cemetery before Memorial Day.

Joining Roger Gitlin, were people from Inter-Faith Council and JUSTSERVE totaling nearly 100 volunteers with weed wackers, steam cleaners and trash bags. Bottled water and black trash bags were provided by The Home Depot.

  1. Credit where deserved. This effort was organized by the Inter-Faith Council, and JUSTSERVE. Volunteers from the community including Take a Bite out of Blight participated. I am very happy to have been part of this great effort.
