By Donna Westfall – October 31, 2016 – Candidate for 1st District, Kathryn Murray, spoke extensively at the recent Tea Party Candidates forum about all the committees she sits on, like Last Change Grade (LCG). However, when the time came to take part in meeting with Congressman Jared Huffman and Oregon 4th District Representative, Peter DeFazio, she was no where to be found.
Similarly, she has spoken about the proposed nickel mining in Smith River, but again she was a no-show at their meeting, Friday, October 28th.
Since Ms. Murray doesn’t communicate with me even though I’m her constituent. I emailed Council member, Rick Holley thinking that perhaps he went in her place as a substitute:
Where’s Kathryn Murray? I understand she did not show up for 2 meetings today.
We do not know where she is. However, her village just called saying their idiot was missing and if we see her have her call home.
