At 10 am this morning, thousands of students from public schools and colleges walked out of class for 17 minutes of silence and prayer.
On their website, “We will no longer tolerate legal abortion in our nation, which has killed more than a fourth of our generation. We will no longer watch as our leaders in Washington continue to fund our nation’s largest abortion vendor, Planned Parenthood, with more than $500 million of our taxpayer dollars. We will no longer permit Planned Parenthood and their allies in the abortion industry to target our peers for their predatory business cycle.”
“We will stand silently outside honoring the 10 children who will violently die during that time at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility. We will rally and demand the end of Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funded empire. We will kneel and pray for the end of legal abortion in our nation.”
Officially, students from 200 high schools and 80 colleges are taking part in the walk-out, although the numbers continue to increase. Last count, somewhere between 350-400 high schools participated. They are also protesting taxpayer funded abortion.
Holding signs that read, “I am the Pro-Life Generation,” along with “Choose Life,” and “Unborn Lives Matter and “Abortion Has Killed More Than a Third of Our Generation.”
Brandon Gillespie started the event. He’s a junior at Rocklin High School in California. But, this event is not being treated the same as the Gun Control walk-out which spurs questions about a double standard. Gillespie was inspired by Juliene Benzel, his history teacher. She was placed on administrative leave after asking if the school would allow a pro-life walkout in the wake of the gun-control student walkout. In a Students For Life of America (SFLA) press release, Gillespie confirmed that his school refused to give the pro-life walkout the same support as the gun-control walkout.
The Pro-Life Walkout is sponsored by Crossroads, Family Research Council, and Kansans for Life of Douglas County.

Planned Parenthood, July 14: At several of our health centers, we help patients who want to donate tissue for scientific research, and we do this just like every other high-quality health care provider does — with full, appropriate consent from patients and under the highest ethical and legal standards. There is no financial benefit for tissue donation for either the patient or for Planned Parenthood. In some instances, actual costs, such as the cost to transport tissue to leading research centers, are reimbursed, which is standard across the medical field.
if you dont know what planned parenthood does, maybe you should do a quick google search. You will find they help millions of women and have been doing so for over a century! you will find that abortions are only 1% of what they do and that ZERO federal dollars are spent on them.
Idiots. Every last one of them. In cities like Fresno kids are killed all the time due to gang violence and drug overdoses. These kids don’t care about that. Not enough focus on ending bullying which is the truest source of these problems. These kids need to be reeducated. Time to get off social media and go back to school. I find it terrifying that worms like David Hogg and the mainstream media are brainwashing the younger people. I don’t see many older folks falling for this crap. Time to stop eating tide pods and snorting condoms.
Wait.. a walkout for a DIFFERENT issue? Okay, maybe I should have read the article but seriously I have been scanning the news everywhere and seeing non-stop school walkouts because of the Parkland shooting.

It gets worse. From the era of Kenyan conman Barry Soetoro, a scam by Planned Parenthood involving the sale of aborted foetuses was stopped by the Trump administration which, additionally, cut federal funding to the agency on the supposition, and rightly too, that people requiring abortions had the option to use privately funded clinics. Congress in the supplementary bill overruled him, and reallocated federal funding for the agency.
