Toxicologist Steve Gilbert, PhD, and his non-profit organization, the Institute of Neurotoxicology & Neurological Disorders, have produced a statement opposing fluoridation. It’s at his “Connecting the Dots” website at https://www. asmalldoseoftoxicology.org/ library.
Steve is the founder and director of the Institute of Neurotoxicology and Neurological Disorders (INND) and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology. He is also an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health, in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. His free e-book, A Small Dose of Toxicology, was released in 2004 and has been translated into Spanish, German, Arabic and Chinese. In 2016, he was recognized by the Society of Toxicology with its public communications award. His full background is at https://www. asmalldoseoftoxicology.org/ about.
His four-page statement opposing fluoridation calls for direct action: “Discontinue water fluoridation, which will greatly reduce fluoride ingestion.” The PDF of this document is also attached.
Steve has been working on this document for the last six months. Many, MANY thanks to him for his work and his position. Also, thanks to Chris Neurath who did a scientific accuracy and wording check of his draft.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many organizations specializing in neurotoxicity that will adopt the same stance.
I’ll also forward this to the big group of activists on our monthly conference calls. Steve said that we can distribute this news and document as widely as we want.
