A protest crowd of about 75 gathered on both sides of Washington Blvd in front of Sutter Coast Hospital declaring their medical freedom of choice not to be vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus. The heavy hand of oppressive government is becoming more aggressive against those who refuse to be vaccinated.
NOTHING surprises me the level of depth our Government will debase itself, in order to force us to comply. Very dangerous.
I support one’s right to choose if one refuses to be vaccinated. More and more stories are becoming known of serious consequences for those who have been vaccinated.
As I read the constant division between our local residents, I fail to understand why. When Mitch Hanna, Eric Wier, and the Board of Supervisors take a position on this covid situation none of you are doing anyone of us any good.
It is well known now that these masks do not do any good, but if you want to wear one than do so, but don’t force it on others as you are taking away their freedom. Their freedom to choose whether they want to take the chance in getting this virus.
It is also well known that the vaccine is not working and that the vaccine can result in death if given to the wrong person. But the aforementioned people do not take that into consideration they only care about themselves.
It is like one woman stated at a press conference recently, forcing people to show proof they have taken the vaccine, or disallowing people to go into events or restaurants if they are not vaccinated is no different than the 60’s where colored folk were not allowed in restaurants, bathrooms, events, etc. Is that what this community is coming to? Segregation at it’s highest and we are going backwards.
You must have missed the “Iron Lung” days.
You would look good laying in one, so it would breathe for you!

A typical response from ignorance. Threats and violence.
I am glad to see members of this community finally roused to action. But at this point in time, I feel that people should be carrying their rifles and firearms to these events, while keeping a noose and length of rope handy.
Moreover, these groups of protesters need to take a lesson from the radical left and start targeting members of the community who are responsible for these decisions. Let them know that if they seek to poison you and your children and strip you of your rights that there will be extreme consequences.
What will you do if the protests fail? Look at France, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany–all of these countries have fielded the largest protests the world has ever seen, and all are opposing their government’s lockdown and vaccine protocols. But have these protests enacted change? Have these protests resulted in people’s governments acknowledging and respecting their freedom? The answer is a resounding “no”. Reminiscent of Nazi Germany, police are now checking people’s vaccine papers in the streets, at restaurants and grocery stores in these countries.
So, what will you do if the protests fail here in Del Norte?
