| Political and corporate elites empower NewsGuard to censor anyone that doesn’t comply with their agenda. That’s why they hate anyone who fights for the truth, like PragerU. We have educated millions of Americans about NewsGuard—one of the largest and most influential “fact-checkers” employed by Big Tech. But there is more work to do and we need your help. NewsGuard wants to control the narrative on any and every topic—from climate change and COVID-19 treatments and vaccines to elections, Planned Parenthood, and the World Economic Forum (to name just a few!). Any outlet that does not conform to their agenda is targeted, blacklisted, and punished. We must stand up to their censorship before it is too late. NewsGuard gave PragerU a low score (57 points out of 100) and warns users to “proceed with caution.” Meanwhile, legacy media outlets like the New York Times and CNN get near-perfect “credibility” ratings: |
While NewsGuard continues to attack PragerU and send us threatening letters, NewsGuard refuses to be transparent about who they are and what they are doing.
We are demanding answers from NewsGuard and need your help.
On behalf of the American public, we have the following questions for NewsGuard:
- What is NewsGuard’s relationship with Publicis (PR for pharma companies)? What instructions have you received from them?
- Do the pharma companies you work with instruct you or provide guidance to target media organizations that talk about the COVID vaccines?
- What instructions has NewsGuard received from the Department of Defense and what was done with the $749,000 that you accepted from the U.S. government?
- What instructions, directives, suggestions, or advice has NewsGuard received from the NIH, World Economic Forum, CDC, World Health Organization, the U.S. Institute of Medicine, or the White House?
- Critics say that NewsGuard is biased in its ratings against new media/conservative media. Please explain why CNN and the New York Times received near-perfect ratings despite their repeated, false reporting.
- Please disclose how much funding you have received from the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the nature of the relationship. What promises has NewsGuard made to the AFT and the teachers unions?
- What is your comment about Elon Musk’s assertion that NewsGuard is a “scam” and what are your plans to retaliate against X?
PragerU has pulled back the curtain. We’ve opened millions of eyes to these cold hard facts: Our own government is pressuring—and paying—Big Tech to use “fact-checkers” like NewsGuard to slap a “misinformation” label on anything they disagree with and “redirect” people to government-approved websites to be reeducated with the “correct” information.
We will not let NewsGuard and their cronies get away with this. We’re not going to let them suppress free speech, conceal information, and control what you can and cannot see, all while keeping you completely in the dark.
There might be severe consequences for us for pushing against NewsGuard. But if we don’t do it, who will?
Third-party fact-checkers and their “partners” have all the money and all the power. But we have you.
