The Greatest Election Interference Plot in US History has been thwarted!  Over 1.2M actions were taken to stop this plot and today the Supreme Court has affirmed “elections belong to the people” in a rare 9-0 unanimous decision!

In a historic 9-0 ruling, the United States Supreme Court has declared that former President Donald Trump will remain on the ballot for the upcoming presidential election, casting aside attempts in Colorado, Maine, Illinois, and other states to exclude his name.

This monumental decision solidifies Trump’s position as a formidable contender against President Joe Biden in November and puts an end to divisive efforts that sought to create a fragmented electoral landscape.

The justices, in an unsigned opinion, emphasized the paramount importance of maintaining a coherent national electoral system. They eloquently argued that allowing states to independently enforce election rules would lead to a ‘patchwork’ that could sever the vital connection between the National Government and the people of the United States.

“The ‘patchwork’ that would likely result from state enforcement would ‘sever the direct link that the Framers found so critical between the National Government and the people of the United States’ as a whole,” stated the justices.

The crux of the Supreme Court’s decision lay in the affirmation that Congress, not individual states, possesses the authority to implement the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. This Amendment, born out of the aftermath of the Civil War, aims to prevent individuals who participated in insurrection from holding federal office again.

The Court underscored that the text of the Fourteenth Amendment does not explicitly delegate such power to the states. Instead, the terms of the Amendment exclusively speak to enforcement by Congress. By dismissing the notion that Colorado could unilaterally keep a Presidential candidate off the ballot based on claims of insurrection, the Court thwarted a potentially chaotic state-by-state election landscape that would run contrary to the principles of federalism.

Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson, in a joint statement, highlighted the significance of unity in their decision. They emphasized the need for a collective lowering of the national temperature, urging Americans to focus on the unanimous agreement of all nine justices rather than dwelling on differences.

“Particularly in this circumstance, writings on the Court should turn the national temperature down, not up. For present purposes, our differences are far less important than our unanimity: All nine Justices agree on the outcome of this case. That is the message Americans should take home.”

This ruling serves as a testament to the strength of the nation’s principles, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive and uniform electoral process. As the country moves forward, this decision invites citizens to embrace the shared values that bind the nation together, reminding us that, in the pursuit of a better future, unity is our greatest asset.
