RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on May 30, 2024, the verdict reached in a courtroom in New York City against President Donald Trump represents the culmination of a legal process manipulated to serve political objectives – all aimed at targeting President Donald Trump.
WHEREAS this case exemplifies the use of lawfare against American citizens, weaponizing the legal system for political ends while ignoring the foundational Constitutional principles that founded the United States.
WHEREAS the Democratic party is seen as perpetuating an agenda that seeks to erode the freedoms that have defined the United States since its inception.
WHEREAS this verdict against President Donald Trump is perceived as an orchestrated act of tyranny, allegedly emanating from the highest levels of government, specifically from the administration of President Joe Biden.
WHEREAS the fact that this case – involving an alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago – was even brought forward illustrates the political degradation of the justice system.
WHEREAS this is especially evident in places like New York City where the same prosecuting district attorney frequently excuses criminal conduct, thereby endangering law-abiding citizens within his jurisdiction.
WHEREAS in the United States, the rule of law should be applied impartially and fairly, and not subjected to the political agendas of a biased court.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The Golden State Republican Women calls on the GOP and the House of Representatives to conduct a thorough investigation into the conduct of the prosecutor and judge involved in this case to restore confidence in the United States legal system.
