“Illegal Discrimination.”
D.E.I. – which stands for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Why did Pres. Trump sign an executive order (EO) on January 20, 2025? Because he is entirely in favor of “merit” based hiring. He wants the best people in jobs and industry (government and private sector) that are being hired because of their skills and experience instead of their race or color, gender or sexual preferences such as the LGBTQ community, ethnicity, age, and more including allowed for the hiring of people with hearing and vision issues as well as paralysis, epilepsy and “dwarfism.”
Trumps EO repeals EO’s previously issued by former President Biden. On January 20, 2025 Pres. Trump signed into law:
“By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:
Section 1. Purpose and Policy. The Biden Administration forced illegal and immoral discrimination programs, going by the name “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), into virtually all aspects of the Federal Government, in areas ranging from airline safety to the military. This was a concerted effort stemming from President Biden’s first day in office, when he issued Executive Order 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:”
In Section 2 Trump orders the termination of all discriminatory programs, including illegal DEI and “diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility” (DEIA) mandates, policies, programs, preferences, and activities in the Federal Government, under whatever name they appear.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is being tasked with this.
A class action lawsuit has been initiated against the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) because qualified air traffic controllers have been denied jobs because other less qualified people were hired because of DEI. One such qualified applicant Andrew Brigida, 35, who scored 100 per cent in his training exam but he didn’t get the job. He has said it was only a matter of time before a crash would occur.
As predicted, 67 people died when a military helicopter collided with a passenger plane. Two air traffic controllers are supposed to be on the job (one covering helicopters and one covering airplanes) but one left the job early that day.
Companies that have stopped DEI policies include: Amazon, Google, Target, Walmart, and Ford. McDonalds, Harley-Davidson, John Deere and the parent company of Jack Daniels, Brown-Forman, along with more each day.
