If you’re a gardener, then exchanging plants, fruits and vegetables is a common practice. But did you know that Pacific Power can help arrange free wood chips delivered to your place?
How does it work?
Right now Wrights Tree Service is trimming trees around our area. They put the branches through the chipper and if they’re in your area, they’ll drop off a dump truck load, or more.
Want some?
You can call Pacific Power at their toll free number at 1-888-221-7070. I tried that but it only gave me recorded messages of pressing a particular button to be connected to various departments, however, nothing about being connected to a customer service rep.
You can notify Pacific Power by going on their website on the internet at https://csapps.pacificpower.net/public/about/contact-us. Fill out the form and submit. I received a call back from someone with the forest service. Her number was 1 (541) 955-7918 and she was very helpful.
Or you can call Wrights Tree Service at 1-800-882 1216. The picture shows two dump truck loads on a friends lawn.
There are no guarantees though. It’s not like going to Hemmingsen’s or a garden center and picking up a pallet or truck load of mulch.
But, considering the benefits of adding wood chips to your garden, in my opinion, it’s worth the wait to get that load when they’re in your area.
