The 4th of July festivities begin with FREE RE/MAX hot air balloon rides at 7 am followed by the parade through downtown — the lineup starts at 8:30 am and the parade starts at 10 am. Due to the generosity of our local sponsors, the parade is free to all of those who enter the parade as well as all spectators.
Enjoy a fun run (see below), live music, food, a beer garden, arts and crafts, merchandise and vendors all day long at Beachfront Park followed by the biggest fireworks show on the north coast (starts at dusk.) Watching the fireworks over the Battery Point Lighthouse is an amazing sight to see! Fireworks can be seen from all beaches in Crescent City.
