The House just passed a Farm Bill that leaves organic farmers behind, doubling down on the same industrial agriculture model that has concentrated power, polluted our environment, and squeezed family farmers for decades.

Now the fight moves to the Senate. And we need your help.

Can you make a gift today to help Center for Food Safety fight for a Farm Bill that supports organic farmers, protects consumers, and builds a healthier food system?

Organic farming is one of the most powerful solutions we have to many of the challenges facing our food system. It reduces reliance on toxic pesticides, improves soil health, protects biodiversity, strengthens rural economies, and produces food without many of the harmful chemicals used in conventional agriculture.

Yet despite a booming organic market that now exceeds $76 billion annually, Congress continues to underinvest in the farmers and businesses making organic agriculture possible.

The House Farm Bill fails to provide the support organic producers urgently need. Certification costs continue to rise. Funding for organic research remains inadequate. Protections against fraudulent organic imports are too weak. And critical investments needed to help more farmers transition to organic agriculture are missing altogether.

Meanwhile, industrial agriculture continues to receive billions in subsidies and support.

This isn’t an accident. Powerful agribusiness interests spend enormous resources protecting the status quo. That’s why organizations like Center for Food Safety are so important.

For decades, we’ve fought to challenge the dominance of industrial agriculture and advance policies that support sustainable farming, healthy food, and environmental protection. Today, we’re working alongside organic farmers, businesses, and advocates to ensure the Senate delivers a stronger Farm Bill.

We’re fighting for:

  • Stronger funding for organic programs and oversight.
  • Affordable organic certification for family-scale farms.
  • Increased investment in organic research and farmer transition programs.
  • Better protection against fraudulent organic imports.
  • Stronger support for regional and domestic organic markets.

But we can’t do it without supporters like you.

Every major victory for organic agriculture has happened because people like you stepped forward and made this work possible.

Will you make a gift today to help us defend and expand organic agriculture?

The decisions Congress makes this year will shape the future of American agriculture for years to come. Together, we can ensure that future includes thriving organic farms, healthier communities, and a food system that works for people rather than corporate interests.

Thank you for standing with us.
