Thirty-six years ago, I tied my gi and put on my gloves. Martial arts taught me respect, humility, discipline, and perseverance—qualities I will bring as your Harbor Commissioner.

For the past five years, I have attended Crescent City Harbor District meetings and dedicated myself to protecting our harbor and community. As a Pro Se litigant, I legally dissolved the Tri-Agency Joint Powers Authority to protect our ocean waters from offshore wind development. I submitted a 563-page complaint to the Del Norte Grand Jury regarding Harbor District credit card expenditures, resulting in validated findings. I successfully pursued Writs of Mandate requiring compliance with the California Public Records Act and the Brown Act. I continue pursuing transparency through a pending Public Records Act case in Del Norte Superior Court. And, currently have a civil rights federal claim for speech violations against women speakers. Weber and Shepherd want four more years and continue to disregard all laws, it is time to take them out and free the harbor to move in a progressive direction. One that is proactive and not reactive.

Everything I accomplished was on my own time and at my own expense because I believe our community deserves accountable leadership.

I envision a harbor that is financially sound, well maintained, supportive of our commercial fishermen, welcoming to business, and proactive instead of reactive. Together, we can restore public trust and secure a sustainable future for our harbor.
