Known as America’s Pastor, Billy Graham died today at the age of 99. A humble man from humble beginnings.  Known throughout the world as a godly man, a deep believer in Jesus Christ.

He never created a mega-church or ran for office although he counseled, met with or prayed with 12 presidents. His wife, Ruth, predeceased him in 2007.  A man that in almost 60 years of preaching never had a shred of sexual or financial scandal associated with his name.

His last crusade held in New York City drew 242,000.  Even though his health started deteriorating in 1989 due to Parkinson’s, and other physical ailments, it slowed him down but he didn’t stop preaching until after his last crusade. A truly great man has died and will be missed by millions all over the world.
