Friends celebrated Joan Miles’s 89th birthday at the Gazebo in the park on Friday, July 19. Joan formally wrote the Senior Sleuth column for the Triplicate. She organized a Ping Pong Club at the Catholic Church gym. She hosted a Conservative talk show on KFUG 101.1 FM. And she taught English as a Second Language for several years at the Crescent City Library and at College of the Redwoods.
Happy Birthday Joan. You’re an ICON for this community. Fashionable, compassionate, and advocate to get the public educated. Cheers to you and may we share many more birthdays to come.
