SUNDAY AFTERNOON, FEBRUARY 3rd, I was driving around. Isaw smoke–took one more look, went around the block,, I ran up to the house yelling, “FIRE! Your shop is on fire!”
Then ran to the car, then the house, then the house next door. Two small kids were crying…. crying…. crying ….told me their pet cats were in the house and the house was on fire also.
I put my arm around them and told them, “Hey, I don’t know if your cats got out but you got out and tha’ts what matters…. your safe!” Now this was a bad day for them.
I’m sorry but I did not save the car-no keys; and I don’t about the cat’s. But I did do my low back in, jumping out of my pick-up. I never knew I could move that fast…..she on fire ….my back that is.
WAS told it was a heater that started the fire in the shop.
