From City of Crescent City Community Development Department – Planning & Zoning – March 29, 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Crescent City Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled meeting, located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant Conference Room (210 Battery St., Crescent City, CA) on the following applications and items:

AGENDA ITEM #1:   A Public Hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit (Application UP24-03) for Jim Peters proposed multi-family (4-unit) residential development located at 928 9th Street (APN 118-260-010).  The multi-family residential development i proposed within an existing commercial structure on a developed parcel in the C-1 Zone (Downtown Business District) and B-P (Business-Professional) land use designation.  The proposed project is determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15302 (Existing Facilities), and section 15303 (New Construction), and section 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects).

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION is invited by the following methods:  (1) In-Person:  3 minute public comment at the podium will be allowed: 2) In-Writing:  prior to 12:00 PM the day of the meeting, via publiccomment@crescentcity.org or by filing with the City Clerk at 377 J Street, Crescent City, CA, 95531.  Written public comments will be forwarded to the Planning Commission, posted on the website, and will not be read aloud during the meeting.
