Every Wednesday until Sea Cruise, volunteers meet to clean up a segment of our city with curb, sidewalk and gutter weed abatement.  Why are they doing this?  Because Sea Cruise 2020 is coming and the City needs as much help as it can get to make our town sparkle.

Who can we thank for putting this together?  Supervisor 1st District, Roger Gitlin. Plus businesses in the community: Kirkland Lawn and Garden Care, sponsored by Frank’s Heating / Spa and Rumiano Cheese , delivered a first class face lift to Brother Jonathan Memorial Park and Cemetery. HAMBROS WSG for providing two employees fro our Pride in Community programs assisting the City in maintaining Rocky Peterson baseball field. A Big THANK YOU to Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for pitching in and helping the very short-handed City Maintenance Crews. If you would like to volunteer and spend 90 minutes to help clean up our City on Wednesday October 7th, call Roger Gitlin at (707) 951-6361.

Sea Cruise is October 9th-10th.  Only one week left to help out.  Bring your weed trimmer ( if you have one), gloves and litter picker and wear long pants.

  1. Thank you, Donna or tlling Crescent City about Roger Gitlin’s Clean up crew and everything they have done over the weeks on Wednesdays to get our City ready for Sea Cruise! As you all probably know Roger is retiring from the Board of Supervisors and starting a more private life and enjoying some extra time traveling with his wife Angie! Knowing Rodger I’m sure he he will always be watching the Politics in Crescent City and remarking about what he thinks is the right thing to do! We all need to be Thankful for the time he Donated to our wonderful City and County!
