With the tireless work of crews in the field, Pacific Power has restored power to nearly all customers in Crescent City using large generators.

Customers whose power has been restored can resume normal electricity use, and should feel comfortable using higher energy devices.

With the installed generators supplying Del Norte County with power, there is still the potential for routine outages caused by interference with our equipment by birds, animals, or vegetation. In the event of a generator failure, Pacific Power has contingency plans in place to quickly restore power to customers. Customers who experience an outage or those who are still without power outside Gasquet and Patrick Creek are advised to contact Pacific Power Customer Service at 877-508-5088.

Now that most customers now have electricity, Pacific Power will be standing down its community resource centers (CRCs), in coordination with Del Norte County Emergency Management. The CRC at Del Norte High School serving customers in Crescent City and the CRC serving customers in the Happy Camp area will be closing at 10pm Saturday.

Due to continued wildfire activity in the transmission corridor serving Crescent City, it remains unsafe to re-energize the transmission line serving the city and surrounding areas. Pacific Power continues to closely monitor all fire activity in the region and will re-energize the transmission lines when it is safe to do so.
