I’m concerned about celebrating veterans for a job done that they had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on (If they were anything like I was in 1966). Once you raise your hand and take an oath, the rest is simply following orders. I don’t want a young person to think “automatic hero”, just enlist. I read yesterday in the triplicate, 22 enlisted/ veterans commit suicide daily. How many are killed in combat daily? Is something wrong with this picture?
