January 30, 2017 – It has been brought to my attention by several people, that lately, the reporting in our local newspaper seems to imply that Julindra Recycling is CLOSED or GONE. We are NOT closed, or gone. What we are no longer doing is processing material from Recology curbside bins or community bins. Remember, this was a Buy Back Center LONG before it was a processing center for Del Norte County Solid Waste recyclables. While we have ended the contract with Recology, we remain open as usual for all your CRV Buy Back items.
In addition, we accept glass, corrugated cardboard, office paper, shredding, newspaper, tin cans and plastic #2 (milk jugs & laundry detergent). All we ask is that you bring it in clean and ready for baling. See drop off bins at front entrance.
So, don’t send your CRV items out of town!
Please support a local business and bring your material to Julindra Recycling. Make recycling a family activity! Bring your kids down after school or on Saturday and let us pay you for your CRV aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass!
While you’re here, you can drop off other items at the front windows. And don’t forget our commercial shredder for big jobs. I am still hearing that your buy back business is closed. I’ve been by there during Business hours and it was closed. Please let Del Norte know if you still buy back cans and bottles. Litter is becoming unbelievable. People are so upset, they are throwing recyclables in the regurlar trash; and not taking time to recycle. It’s maddening because we are all still being charged CRV with no reimbursement.
