  • Newsom Abdicates the Throne

    Newsom Abdicates the Throne

By Assemblyman Kevin Kiley – November 29, 2021

In our court battles against Newsom, he’s insisted a State of Emergency “centralizes the State’s powers in the hands of the Governor.” But what happens if those hands are clutching a margarita south of the border?

In that case, he abdicates the throne. With Newsom vacationing in Cabo this last week, the Lieutenant Governor took his place. Then yesterday, she also left California. The Senate President is third in the line of succession and assumed the governorship.

So as we’re supposedly embroiled in a State of Emergency, both Newsom and the Lt. Governor abdicated all responsibility for any “emergency” response. If this isn’t a reason to pass ACR 46, my resolution to terminate the emergency, I don’t know what is.

Alas, Newsom did return last night. He came back to see he’s successfully gotten a court to halt the vaccine mandate for his big union donor. At the same time, he remains the only governor imposing a mandate on kids. It’s hard to imagine anything more corrupt.

What’s more, a new study finds “striking evidence of declining overall cognitive functioning in children” from masks and other COVID measures. Ending the emergency will mean a return to normal schooling. It can’t wait another day.

  • Why is a California City in the national spotlight over mandates?

Why is a California City in the national spotlight over mandates?

By Donna Westfall November 29, 2021

Is President Biden and California’s Governor Newsom’s mandates for masks and vax even legal?

“NO”, said the City of Oroville, a small town located in Butte County which is in the Northern part of California. It’s in the central valley north of Sacramento. Northerners are sick and tired of a lack of representation and a hot topic these days is redistricting.

The City Council voted on Resolution number 9001 to declare their city a Constitutional Republic and as such gives themselves more local control and stopping the State and federal mandates to mask up or get shots.

In a 6-1 vote, the Resolution passed in their November 2nd council meeting. Mayor Chuck Reynolds reminds the people that a mandate is not a law. Vice Mayor, Scott Thompson sent an email to Governor Newsom stating that he has been unwilling to listen to people in the north part of the state and that he believes politicians are “drunk on power.”

In a 2010 census the town had about 15,500 population. After the Paradise fire in 2018 where so many lost their homes, people relocated to Oroville pushing their population over 20,000.

Businesses have been affected by all the craziness of Newsom’s mandates through out the State. Power hungry politicians are more likely to deal with San Francsico, San Diego and Los Angeles than spend an ounce of attention to any of the towns in the Northern part of the state.

The resolution makes it clear that officers will not be blindly enforcing every mandate that gets handed down.

East Bay Times reported that a Seattle woman called to give the City Council a BIG THANK YOU. She reportedly said that her family is planning a trip to California soon and have altered their plans to make a stop in Oroville where they will “spend as much money as we can to let you know how much we support you.”

Perhaps if more and more cities approved similar resolutions, government overreach and disrespect for our constitution will stop these mandates and end the perversion of the very fabric of our country.

  • The Board of Education has lost its way.

The Board of Education has lost its way.

By Roger Gitlin – EYE ON DEL NORTE – November 29, 2021

Public Health Officer Aaron Stutz needs to be removed from his position, immediately.

And while he’s exiting, take along 4th District Del Norte Unified School Board member Charlaine Mazzei, a Board member who was NEVER elected by the voters but was appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy.

    School Board member, Charlaine Mazzei

I had the opportunity to view the recent DNUSD Board meeting and its lengthy discussion on masking kids matriculating through Del Norte County schools. What a farce!

The Board has lost its way and its sheeple loyalty to Dr. Stutz is shocking and devoid of any common sense. Mandating the masking of our kids is irresponsible and counter-productive. There are zero cases of Covid19 among our DN youth.

Leading the rabid pack of Vaxers and Maskers is Mazzei.

Her feigned concern for the health and safety of DNUSD students is eclipsed by the huge Del Norte County void and abysmal test scores in Math and Language Arts in California. Del Norte County is near the very bottom of the testing the almost-one thousand school districts in the State.

This Board, including Ms. Mazzei appears deaf, dumb and blind to the fact the DNUSD is not educating its children; that is factual and shameful!!

This Board of Education is unable to prioritize what is important for these children and the parents who entrust their kids to this sub-standard Public Education, allowing highly questionable and inappropriate sexually related curricula being taught in our students and purchasing at public expense, buildings which will be exempt from property taxes.

According to the Covid19 Information Hub, there are a few new cases of the Virus, ZERO hospitalizations and ZERO new deaths attributed to the Virus in the last three months. Yet, the good Dr. Stutz, Czar, part-time Emergency Room Dr. At Sutter Coast, part-time Public Health Officer, resident of Siskiyou County where he also serves as that County’s part-time PHO, mandates continued masking for DN kids. Is it no wonder a thousand school-age kids are no longer enrolled in Del Norte schools?

Our School Board is bereft of leadership and understanding of the roles each was elected to serve and has lost its way.

And watching the taped meeting, I observe a growing number of very disgruntled parents.

  • WHO CARES? I CARE

Opinion Piece By Linda Sutter – November 28, 2021

Back in the days when I worked as a Correctional Officer, I can remember getting a new job that required counting the inmates throughout the night. It is a rule that inmates’ windows and cell doors be free from covering because you must be able to see a live breathing person throughout the night during counts. However, that seemed to be more difficult than one expected.

The first night on the job I submitted 128 informational chronos of non compliance. The informational chrono is sort of like a warning and the beginning of a paper trail of noncompliance. The second night on the job I submitted approximately 90 rules violations (115’s). Needless to say my boss wasn’t happy and I was told, “why do you care?” years later that statement would bite a lot of someone’s in the bottom when it took 3 days to find out there was a dead guy in one of the cells. It’s called complacency.

Which brings me to today. When I drive to town I drive past our South Beaches. When I see loads of garbage and debri, old beat up campers parked at the old BeachCombers restaurant. I Care. Now I know the Sheriff’s department is working nightly to move people along and enforce the ordinance, however, before that was done how many times did I have to get in front of our Board of Supervisors before anyone would listen and take action? Not only did I go the extra mile in getting something achieved, but my writing an article or two resulted in two women who own an RV video taping my house, wishing I was dead, exploiting my address on youtube, and getting my dog poisoned. But, I care.

We have a school district that has been out of compliance for 3 years, that attempts to make the public follow the rules and laws, but ignores the fact that they were out of compliance, and snubs their noses at the public for bringing the attention to their non compliance, and refuses to abide by California Public Request for Information Act, has paid three times for the HVAC system at DNHS, and could care less that public money was misused and mismanaged. But Who Cares? I care.

I care so much that I spend my own money to print out documents, I spend over 40 hours a week researching and writing instead of enjoying my retirement or this past Thanksgiving.

The County attempted to use $70,000 of taxpayers money to pay a debt to the United States Department of Commerce for a debt that was created by extremely poor management. But, Who Cares? I do. Again, another project that requires time, money, for research and writing. Another example of complacency.

The Harbor, at the most recent meeting that I attended, it appeared there was another financial mess to contend with. So now I requested all bank statements in the last three years, along with credit card statements to find out who did what and where money went. But who cares? I do.

Honestly, I wish I could be like the people who said, “you need to stop caring.” Some of our Supervisors don’t care, they don’t even bother reading the documents that go with the agenda items. Some of them don’t bother researching negative impacts of their decisions, or the pros and cons.

The school board definitely does not do their homework because if they did they would have caught the project they paid for three times. That alone should raise their eyebrows and request a financial crisis management assistant team to conduct an audit. But that will never happen.

The Harbor, it has finally come out that there indeed are financial issues. Now they want to blame the former secretary for their financial downfalls, but, um, after visiting the court records, I don’t think so. That is why the request. Again, complacency.

These are our elected. They won a contest on popularity and who could blow the most smoke, and not on merit. At this point I am tired. I am tired of making changes instead of my elected. I am tired of doing their work and I am tired of them not caring.

The saddest issue of all, is the fact that our town, our community demonstrates how people who are elected don’t care. They don’t care about how they spend taxpayers money. They don’t care that our beaches are destroyed and trashed. They don’t care about economic blight for the last 20 years. They don’t care that this community could be more than it is. Why don’t they care? Complacency. They got your vote, and are too prestigious to do their work.

  • Biden Bashing

    Biden Bashing

    By Donna Westfall – November 27, 2021

By now, with approval ratings in the toilet along with our tax dollars, Joe Biden has become the joke of the United States if not the world.

#1 – Let’s start with 70 year old Debra Fischer, Senator from Nebraska. BACKGROUND: The Keystone XL pipeline started in Canada with TC Energy as the corporate backer; and went as far as Steele City, Nebraska before Situs Judi Slot Terbaik dan Terpercaya No 1 pulled the plug. Initially designed to transport the planet’s dirtiest fossil fuel, tar sands oil, to market—and fast; and up to 830,000 barrels PER DAY.

Upon Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, Sen. Fischer said,

“Congratulations to President Biden and Vice President Harris on their swearing-in today. I look forward to working with them in a bipartisan manner to find common ground and deliver results for families in Nebraska and across America.”

Let’s go to her more recent twitter posting dated November 23, 2021:

“He just announced the decision to release 50 million barrels from the SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserve). Releasing roughly 3 days’ worth of our domestic oil consumption is a weak, short-term attempt to control rising gas prices.  He is not ‘looking out for you’.”

President Joe Biden call himself “a climate warrior” who wants to move the US to clean energy. Or a fool for stopping permits for the Keystone Pipeline on Day 1, only to beg OPEC to pump more oil seven months later.

What has his Daftar Sbobet Order cost the US?

    Lost jobs

    Higher Gas Prices

    Inflation

Fueling the Russian and Middle East economies by purchasing from them

Even NEWSWEEK called this a “Pointless Political Move.”

Or as Senator Barrasso (R-WY) slams Biden’s energy policies and gives him an “F.”

    Thanksgiving 2021

    By Donna Westfall – November 25, 2021

    Hot topics this holiday:

Former President Trump with Kyle Rittenhouse

VP Kamala Harris – Vice President Kamala Harris commented on the verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse’s homicide trial, suggesting it showed the criminal justice system is not equitable, apparently contradicting President Joe Biden’s remarks.

President Joe Biden – “Look, I stand by what the jury has concluded,” he said. “The jury system works, and we have to abide by it.”  “I didn’t watch the trial.” The verdict, …””will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included.”

Biden approval ratings continue to tank. Inflation continues to go up, up and up.

NOTICES OF INTENT TO REPEAL CITY AND COUNTY SALES TAXES HAVE BEEN FILED WITH THE CITY AND COUNTY CLERKS. Proponents hope to get it on the June 2022 ballot. 49 signatures required of Registered Voters in the City and 367 signatures of County Registered Voters.

Next up: Working on repealing the Fire District Assessment Tax and Transient Occupancy Tax. Petitions for School Choice already available. Repealing the Death Tax (Prop 19) paperwork approved by California Secretary of State. Petitions expected to come out soon.

Just so you know, Biden is spending Thanksgiving on Nantucket Island (Massachusetts) with Billionaire David Rubenstein. Meanwhile, gas prices continue to go up and Thanksgiving dinner has risen more than 14% from the previous year.

The following is a message from our former President:

  • Will Roe v Wade Be Overturned?

    By LifeSiteNews – November 24, 2021

On the eve of Thanksgiving, consider this.

In 2 weeks, the Supreme Court hears the most important abortion-related case in the last 50 years — Dobbs v. Jackson — which may very well result in a decision to overturn Roe v. Wade altogether.

This truly is a historic time for the pro-life movement in our country.

That’s right: America is now in its best position in generations to end abortion in its entirety at the federal level.

    Dear Donna,

We apologize for emailing you just before Thanksgiving, but this is extremely important, and we wanted to give you a second opportunity to participate in this historic pro-life moment.

As mentioned above, the case which the Supreme Court will hear in only one week’s time, could effectively end abortion in its entirety at the federal level.

This, then, is truly an historic time for the pro-life movement in our country!

But even if Roe is overturned, it will still be up to individual states to ensure that abortion is banned outright.

Thankfully, some states are already preparing their plan of action for this critical moment as we speak. [Read more below.]

BUT, we need EVERY state to follow their lead.

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO CONTACT YOUR STATE LAWMAKERS

AND ASK THEM TO PREPARE FOR THE END OF ROE!

Members of the Ohio State Legislature, for example, have just recently introduced legislation that would effectively ban ALL abortion(s) in the state, setting a new, fully pro-life precedent for other states to follow.

And, to prepare for the end of Roe, it is critical for other states to follow suit.

But we need YOUR help to spread the message…

Can we count on you to contact your State Legislators today, and ask them to prepare legislation that bans abortion outright in the event that the Supreme Court does, in fact, overturn Roe during its current session?

You can reach your State Legislators in one easy step using this simple contact form that we’re making available by CLICKING HERE on LifeSite’s Action Center.

Then, please SHARE this important information with your friends and family members to spread the word across your state and our country!

The Supreme Court’s ruling on the Mississippi law in Dobbs vs. Jackson will likely come down to determining whether any state law that places restriction(s) on pre-viability abortion(s) are constitutional — potentially opening the door to a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade itself.

In fact, the state of Mississippi has already formally asked the Supreme Court to overturn Roe in its own brief defending their law.

That’s why it’s absolutely crucial to prepare for that moment now.

Again, overturning Roe, in itself, does NOT mean the automatic elimination of abortion in our country. It will be up to the states to do that themselves when the time comes.
