The one thing I find most irritating about talk radio or political commentary in any media is the repetitiveness of information. Another issue is espousing only opinions based on interpretation of facts. As all of our time is limited to focus on items only peripheral to our own well being, my wish would be to have ALL of the facts and their verification in one place.
Rote learning, where one is forced to do things over and over to engrain that model into our conscience as well as subconscious, works well for those who can think on their own. It is also used to indoctrinate those who refuse to question the source ala Goebbels. Tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.
This applies on all levels which I will shortly demonstrate. Forgive me if I reiterate points from the past but they will only be mentioned to validate my elucidations.
On the National level, Democrats have proven the saying, “Anything can be litigated”. A sneeze, a phrase, a look, how something is said, all of these are now excuses for impeachment rather than the definition expressed in the United States Constitution with the wording based on English common law.
I read or heard the reasons behind Democrats calls for impeachment. It seems the majority want impeachment based on Trump’s demeanor, not acting presidential, or just not liking “orange haired orangutan”. Others manage to convolute and conflate written transcripts toward their own purposes.
It tends humorous when hypocritical talk show hosts bleat about Russian election interference in the 2016 election, overseen by the Obama administration, and then whine about Trump asking a Ukrainian president put into power to root out corruption to do him a favor and investigate any and all aspects of what occurred in that year under the Ukraine’s past corrupt leadership.
Repeating, does running as a political opponent absolve you from past or present criminal activity? How do you ignore a video tape with Joe Biden bragging about how he got a prosecutor fired with the threat of withholding aid? Let’s not dwell on the hypocrisy but rather move on to conclusions.
So the Democrats want to impeach based on phony claims of bribery and obstruction of justice. Their idea of justice is not even close to mine. Constitutional separation of powers means that Congress has no right to interfere in the day to day operations of the Executive branch unless there is clear evidence of “high crimes or misdemeanors”. This has all been about stopping a duly elected President from performing his duties and emplacing his agenda.
The question asked by one talk show host, whom I can’t believe doesn’t know its answer, is why or what does the President think he has to gain from forcefully asking for impeachment and a trial. While some feel impeachment imprints an indelible stain on the individual, this type of “fake impeachment” for purely political purposes has the potential to expose an entire party for what it is at its core.
As for the trial itself, nothing could be more obvious. Adam Schiff will be exposed as a liar, charlatan, and treasonous traitor for plotting with a member of the swamp to overthrow a presidency. Keep claiming, Adam, that you don’t know the identity of the “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella, when his name was given almost a month ago. Somehow it bothers me that his name is so similar to mine.
We also have a report coming from the investigator general on December 7th. All of the collusion, petty political nonsense, and corruption from 2016 and most likely many years prior, will be front and center. My bet is the American people will ignore most of it and continue to elect the same Leftist statists, fascists, tyrants and would be dictators who have no problem telling the hoi polloi how to live while doing whatever their little hearts desire.
