Today, the Department of Education announced, “President Biden will email an additional 380,000 public service workers thanking them for their service and notifying them they are on track to have their debt cancelled through PSLF within two years. The Biden-Harris Administration announced today the approval of $5.8 billion in additional student loan debt relief for 77,700 borrowers. Today’s announcement brings the total loan forgiveness approved by the Biden-Harris Administration to $143.6 billion for 3.96 million Americans. This action builds on President Biden and his Administration’s efforts to provide debt relief to as many borrowers as possible as quickly as possible.” Biden’s administration has socialized education for a broad spectrum of public servants, including state and government workers, teachers, nurses, social workers, and firefighters-a largely unionized public sector. By characterizing student loans as containing “trap doors,” the administration seeks to justify its circumvention of Congress’s “power of the purse.” “When people discover they can vote themselves money that is the end of the Republic.” -Benjamin Franklin Despite clear rulings from the U.S. Supreme Court and the limitations set forth by Congress, the Biden administration continues to execute its unconstitutional and lawless debt cancellation, first, targeting voting blocs that are largely unionized and secondly targeting a bloc made up of younger, unlikely voters.
