Today is my son’s 53rd birthday. However, when I was pregnant with him, I was separated from his father and contemplating a divorce. I also contemplated an abortion.

Having been raised in a household that taught sanctity of life, It was truly a great internal debate. The year was 1968. I was 20 years old. Ultimately, I chose life and decided to go back into the marriage.

My son is a fantastic person. I’m so glad he’s alive.

These days I see local teenage girls that swallow the rhetoric of Planned Parenthood towards abortion without thinking about the human being side of things.

Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life made these remarks today’s date:

“The Abortion Lobby wants you and me to believe young people LOVE abortion and Roe v. Wade.

But the truth is, too many young people have simply been fed a diet of pro-abortion propaganda by the national media and their government schools that they don’t know that Roe v. Wade legalizes abortion for any reason through all nine months.

When they’re confronted with the TRUTH about abortion (and what Roe allows) they’re aghast.

That’s why Students for Life’s work to change hearts and minds on America’s campuses is so critical.

And with the U.S. Supreme Court recently hearing the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case about Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, more Americans are waking up to the fact that this could be the beginning of the end of Roe v. Wade.

Fox News recently published my latest op-ed on how your support for Students for Life is making a post-Roe world a reality in America.

If you have a moment, will you please click here to read my Fox News op-ed on why America needs to get ready for a post-Roe world?

There is reason to believe that real change is coming.

The night before the Supreme Court official began hearing the Dobbs case, we camped out all night long in the frigid temperatures in Washington, D.C.

The buzz all night long was unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of.

The Pro-Life Generation is more energized than ever before because we’re nearer than ever to achieving our goal of abolishing abortion.

While the Dobbs decision could be a huge victory for pro-lifers, abolishing abortion won’t just happen after one Supreme Court decision.

It will take a culture change…a culture change that Students for Life is leading.”
