Beloved world wide celebrity, Jackie Chan, is alive and well. His reps officially confirmed that Jackie Chan is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.

As of yesterday, June 26th, the 59 year old actor famous for Shainghai Noon and Rush Hour,  was in India to celebrate the Chinese Film Festival.  He became the victim of an online death hoax.  I received word on Facebook this morning that he fell 12 stories while doing a perfect stunt. Shock, then disbelief.  Sure enough, it was a hoax.

Other celebrity death hoaxes include actress Megan Fox in January of this year.  Then there was the author of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling.  Then movie stars, Adam Sandler and Robin Williams all joined the death hoax list.

The one death that is legitimate is James Gandolfini, from the Sopranos.  He passed away from a heart attack much to the shock of family, fans and friends and will be sorely missed.
