This is a press release from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 12/21/25 at 1:15 PM, Del Norte County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a felony arrest warrant at a residence in the 6000 block of Kings Valley Road. Mykah Mode was taken into custody and deputies conducted a search of his residence. Two loaded handguns, methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana and suboxone strips wrapped in latex were found, which is consistent with attempts to smuggle items into jail.
Mode was booked under the aforementioned felony warrant and the following charges were included in his booking based on the evidence discovered by Deputies.
