Join the 55th annual Gasquet Raft Race this Saturday, July 13th from 10am to 3 pm at the Forks in Gasquet.

Come in costume and float your raft, air mattress, kayaks or even giant swans down the Smith River.

In addition to rafting, there will be bands playing and food to eat.

Cost: $35 per person to sign up. Sign ups start at 9 am.

With a substantial morning breeze and warming temperatures the 55th annual Gasquet raft races kicked off at noon. The Gasquet Fire department serving its famous fish tacos, $25-t-shirts and folks registering for the float down river. A typical afternoon in the sun post race is expected with live entertainment. Del Norte county at its finest .
