| Recent reports suggest that as many as 10 million gun owners and hunters are not registered to vote. Reflect on that number for a second. Ten million potential pro-gun voters. What difference could that make in an election? |
| Let’s look at some key results from 2020. The Biden/Trump results would have been reversed with just 43,000 votes in three states: Arizona – 10,357 Georgia – 11,799 Wisconsin – 20,608 Georgia and Wisconsin have about 500,000 unregistered to vote hunters and sportsmen each. Arizona has about 133,000. In Pennsylvania there are reportedly 515,277 hunters who are not registered. The 2020 election results? Joe Biden: 3,459,92 Donald Trump: 3,378,263 Difference: 81,660 In Michigan and North Carolina, there are some 370,000 licensed hunters not registered. The results in 2020 for Michigan? Joe Biden: 2,804,040 Donald Trump: 2,649,852 Difference: 154,188 In North Carolina, Donald Trump won with a slim 74,483 statewide margin. Keep in mind, we’re talking about people who should be on our side who are eligible to vote but aren’t registered. It doesn’t even include the many who are registered but choose to stay home! These numbers are depressing, but they also present us with an opportunity to win big in 2024…if we get our act together. It’s not enough for just you to vote—what about your pro-gun family? Now, we understand that most GOA members are already registered to vote and don’t miss an election. After all, the reason to join GOA in the first place is to make our voices heard in politics. But we need to look beyond ourselves and widen the circle. Home is a good place to start. Consider this. There are 17 children of voting age between the three signers of this email. Every single one of them is registered to vote (and happily, they all vote pro-Second Amendment). So, including us, our spouses, children, and their spouses, there are more than 30 registered voters represented. Look around at your own circle of influence. Got everyone covered? If not, let’s get to work. Just follow this link to find your state. This will take you DIRECTLY to your state elections page. Your data doesn’t go to GOA or any third party. Voter registration varies by state, but for most of the country registration ends in October. Ok, got your family registered? Great, then go out even further and hit up your friends—in real life and on social media—and your hunting and range partners, too. You’ll probably hear people say, “But the system is rigged, my vote won’t matter anyway. ”Here’s the deal. We know the Left has been playing fast and loose with elections for DECADES—this is not something that just snuck up on us recently. But withdrawal from the process is not a solution—it’s a cop-out. We all need to pull our boots on and GET TO WORK. If people think the other side is stealing votes, fine. Then let’s blow the doors off with so many votes that it’s too big to rig! |
