Sunday, September 30, 2012 from noon to 5 Ocean Air Farms was open to the public for fun and games. Run by Paul and Julie Jo Madeira, they put on a program that included sheep shearing, hay rides, pony rides, potato digging, raffles and zucchini sling shot.  You could watch Donna Madeira and Dianna Opiat, carding the Icelandic sheep wool and then spinning it into strands of usable yarn.

An excellent day spent sampling organic produce and enjoying the festivities .  Can’t wait until next year.  Ocean Air Farms is located in Ft. Dick, California.
