| The derangement over last month’s election results continues as California lawmakers will convene a special session today. WHY? To discuss legislation that will shield the state against the “vast” dangers of the incoming Trump administration. Make no mistake about it – doing what they can to protect California’s Leftist gun control laws will be on their agenda big time. And even though the state is facing a looming $2 billion shortfall next year, what’s another $25 million to underwrite litigation against the federal government? These folks seriously are a few fries short of a Happy Meal. |
| Meanwhile, Assembly Minority Leader James Gallagher called it a “shameless political stunt” and said “The only ‘problem’ it will solve is Gavin Newsom’s insecurity that not enough people are paying attention to him…If Newsom is so eager to set up a 2028 presidential run, he’d be much better served by fixing the crime, homelessness, and high costs that will doom his campaign.” We agree!
