According to Senator Joel Anderson, who sat on the committee regarding turning California into a sanctuary state, convicted illegal felons would be returned to our communities instead of being deported. He was only one of two on that committee that voted against SB 54. This is his second term in the US Senate representing San Diego County.
The Senator is blasting California Democrats for wanting to shield undocumented criminals. He writes, “I wanted to provide you with a quick update. In the last 24 hours we have received over 2,000 new petition signatures opposing California’s proposed “Sanctuary State” law. Thank you for helping me spread the word about this important issue, I want to make sure your voices are heard in the Capitol. Tomorrow, I will be live on Fox & Friends at 4:15am California time to discuss California’s sanctuary policies.”
If this doesn’t sit right with you, go to his website and sign his petition. But then call our Senator Mike McGuire and let him know your thoughts. McGuire can be reached at 707 445 6508. Tell him to vote NO on SB 54.
