The weather was absolutely perfect for Labor Day. There was the faint whiff of bar-b-que in the air. The parking lot at Battery Point Lighthouse showcased a couple dozen classic cars to the enjoyment of attendees.
Joining the purple Buick (pictured), were Camaro’s, Corvettes, Chevy’s and more. This flat black painted truck was a mystery. We couldn’t figure out what make it was.
Roger Gitlin had this to say, “Angela and I were pleased to host the Labor Day Northern Knights / Curry County Cruisers Show’n Shine at the Battery Point Lighthouse parking lot. Lots of thanking to go around: City of Crescent City for providing the parking lot, Walt Fletcher of the VFW for providing flags, Jim and Patsy Haggerty for bringing all the Curry County Cruisers, Gary and Dana Bates of the Northern Knights for providing all the BBQ goodies. And THANK YOU weatherman for providing us with incredible weather..let’s do it again, next year.”
