UPDATE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY *** 10/13/23 19:19HRS The suspect was located and detained by Brookings PD and is in custody in Curry County, Oregon.
Deanna Esmaeel, was found dead in her home Thursday, October 12th. Her boyfriend, Daniel James Walker, of two years was suspected of killing her. A manhunt was initiated and although they found his car after issuing a BOLO, he was nowhere to be found. He was later located in Curry County, Oregon.
Deanna Esmaeel was a Del Norte County Sheriff’s Deputy. Her son, Marty York, acted in the movie, “Sandlot.”
Here he is with his mother in the middle posted to his Instagram where he asked for the public’s help in locating the suspect.
” Justice held to a higher Standard here” , … I for One can definitely commiserate ! Myself being the Victim of Residential Burglary, Grand Theft CA P.C.:# 460 at My Home some years back. I was actually told , ” we don’t do those” … Exact Words by the Woman Employee at D.N.S.D. under the Wilson Regime. I was treated like the Criminal. P.C. 460 is significant . Felony .Don’t cross go. The Felon on Parole whom committed the hanious Act , caught ,released , No Charges. The State Police had to come out and take prints , photographs etc. I mean ,Stevie Wonder could have Seen thru this One !
Its been conveyed to Me via no less than 5 sitting or post- term Supervisors over the years , quote: ” Dave , it just Hard to get good people up here” . That said, the law enforcement industry , No differant than medical, barrister and other professions. 400 miles from civilization up here in These Back Woods , were Not getting the Cream of the Crop. From All I’ve personally witnessed over the years, I’d say L.E. is generally lazy here. They seem to relish immensely in the ” lights and sirens , Code 3 ‘s and of course the Military SWAT type Home Invasions” , but Not the leg work needs putting In to chase down the Bad Guys and get the Victims some form of Justice.
The ” Patterns” , Always the Same here. ( ie) the more Severe Convicted Felon and Crime, the easier the penalty or many times none. Diametrically Opposed , is the Fact ,Myself and others I know of being Law Abiding Cotizens and Victims get their Wrath. Whatever ” Entity” really runs It all , and Dictates to that D.A. for unknown reasons,favor , give breaks to and light sentences on Felons. There is a Legitimate Pattern of this unorthodox System of Justice here. All I can say , is hang in there , do some research and reach out to Authorities , Advisors South of Klamath. Good Luck ! Your gonna Need it here when it comes to L.E. and the Local Judicial System.
It is hard to believe you’re a victim when you make it a point to victimize everyone you come in contact with. It appears your criminal history is long and complicated. That demonstrates Karma has come full circle to give back what you have given.
Hi my name is Ryan Freeman, I had a gun put to the back of my head by my ex a make-up artist and actress from Hollywood and my voice was never heard in court nor did I get a court date. Garrett Scott, the Sheriff, personally knew of the house I was building I was corresponding with him due to being arrested. He pawned me off on other deputies that never gave me their cards or a case #. My witness never was questioned nor any evidence from prior dates added to my case. I wrote the DAs office and never got a response, went to the courthouse was told my case was pending and couldn’t get a court date and no information from the clerks, the paperwork was supposed to be in my belongings after my release (missed traffic court)and nothing; I was told by SGT. Williams that it wasn’t completed three weeks after reported. I know you wrote article for Deanna Esmaeel along with a lot of other news agencies that I plan to contact, and I would like to be able to be heard and Justice held to a higher standard here due to my PTSD and family Trauma.
