Yesterday, In-N-Out was shut down by San Francisco. Here’s the company’s response:
“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business.”
My tweet about In-N-Out’s stand has been seen and shared by more people than anything I’ve ever posted. Freedom Fries has a new meaning.
This comes a day after parents, students, and teachers made their voices heard in statewide protests against Newsom’s new mandate. Thousands turned out for one of the biggest rallies ever at the Capitol.
Seeing this citizen pushback, not a single other state has followed Newsom and imposed a student mandate. Our Governor has embarrassed himself again, and momentum is growing for a return to sanity.
It can’t come soon enough. In the name of “safety,” a school district in Davis just announced students would have to eat lunch outside in the rain. A school in Sonoma is making kids “chew with their masks on.” Cruelty to children has been normalized.
Thank you to everyone who is fighting back for our kids, for our freedoms, for our future. It’s making all the difference.
