Lag time. That’s the time between submitting petitions and having the signatures verified.

For example. The latest news from the Recall Newsom campaign is 1.825 million signatures acquired. Next they are pre-verified by crews working diligently on the recall before submitting them to the counties for signature verification. Once the county is finished they get sent to the Secretary of State.

News from the recall crews is that 1,825 million have been pre-verified or 3rd party verified. The magic number to get the recall on the ballot: 1,495,709.

From the recallgavin2020.com site, “Everywhere you look, the failures of Governor Newsom are obvious and appalling to everyone. For this reason, the Recall Gavin 2020 campaign is not conservative or liberal, or right or left, or Republican or Democrat. This is a mass uprising.

Leading the charge is Orrin Heatlie with over 80,000 volunteers for this massive undertaking. This is the largest volunteer base in the history of the country. Donations have been pouring in. $250,000 from the Republican National Committee this month. Orrin Heatlie is the lead proponent of this recall.

Enter Anne Dunsmore. She’s the campaign manager for Rescue California. She was involved in 2003 on the Gray Davis successful recall. On November 6, 2020 a Judge granted the Newsome recall effort an additional 120 days. Within weeks, Rescue CA was formed in order to double the effort to get the signatures in. Her goal: 2 million signatures.

What is a valid signature? Must be a registered voter. The signature must match that which is registered with the Registrar of Voters. Only one signature is counted Duplicates are thrown out.

  1. For this reason, the Recall Gavin 2020 campaign is not conservative or liberal, or right or left, or Republican or Democrat. Donations have been pouring in. $250,000 from the Republican National Committee this month. Oh really, How much did they get from the Democratic National Committee?

    1. I would suspect if our local Republican Committee is anything to go by State wide, it might as well be considered Democrat in all but name only. Is that good enough?

  2. So we “recall” Newsom. Last time we did this we replaced the liberal with a RINO. The California GOP now and has been a bunch of Ruling Class RINO”s that cower in the corner and refuse to truly stand for what matters.
