By Donna Westfall –  March 22, 2017  with Credit to Mike Crowley, Meadville Tribune published Feb 16, 2017 – Pennsylvania – The Meadville Area Water Authority (MAWA) have announced their public meeting to discuss the pros and cons of fluoridating their water on May the 4th, a day known in some circles as Star Wars day.

The public discussion started four years back. This upcoming meeting will find the Clean Water Meadville in one corner of the proverbial boxing ring duking it out against the Meadville Smiles. After they give their allotted 30 minute presentations followed by 10 minutes of rebuttal from each side, the floor will then be opened to MAWA customers each having three minutes of public comment.
