Popcorn seeds from many major suppliers are coated with a bee-toxic insecticide that is exterminating entire honeybee colonies. And with Americans consuming over 2 billion pounds of popcorn every year, if we don’t take action now, honeybees will continue to be at risk!

Word is getting out about these nasty chemicals. Pop Weaver, the second largest popcorn supplier in the United States, announced a plan to phase out use of neonicotinoids, the pesticides killing our bees. That’s great news – but now we need to get even more popcorn producers on board.
