UNDEFEATED !
They’re so good that no one in Oregon District #8 would play them and chose to forfeit instead.
Not only that, but the 1/2 dozen I met at the Fairgrounds serving lunch today are “A” and “B” students. They are holding an INDIAN TACO fundraiser today at the kitchen in the main building at the Fairgrounds. $6 for a huge Indian Taco. $1 extra for a can of soda. Their goal: $1,000. As of 12:30 pm today, they had raised $600.
Help these young women to reach their goal. They care about their community and all emphasized they have a “Passion for Softball,” practicing 2 to 2 1/2 hours a day.
Coach Tony Bruschi, father to Grace, must be doing a fantastic job.
When asked where they were going and what do they need the money for; here’s their breakdown. They’re going to the State tournament in Klamath Falls. Since they don’t have enough for hotels; they plan on paying for camping out, food and gas.
If they win at the State level, they go on to Regionals and then play the best team in every State.
Please come out and support this worthwhile endeavor. It’s at the Fairgrounds until 6 pm tonight.
