I could be way out in left field on this issue but my thoughts are this; If Sutter Coast hospital becomes regionalized how much money is that going to cost the tax payers?
Pelican Bay State Prison utilizes Sutter Coast Hospital, how much will the care go up for the cost of an inmate who has to be shipped out to San Francisco or other hospitals? Granted we do have to send inmates out to places such as Medford, Grants Pass, and Eureka and that cost enough but flying them to San Francisco? yikes.
How about this to think about, how much are our insurance premiums going to go up if Sutter Coast becomes Regionalized? That is gonna affect our insurance premiums even more than the upcoming OBAMA CARE package we will endure come 2014.
I would think even the politicians would want to consider these matters due to the economic crunch everyone is experiencing. In closing, maybe those thoughts should be communicated to the powers to be, of course I guess it is wishful thinking that the powers to be would be compassionate enough to consider every one’s pocket book, especially since it does not directly effect them.
