Something BIG happened today.

In a message of unity, Republican U.S. Senator Pat Toomey and former Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Ed Rendell published a bipartisan op-ed calling on all of the states to work together to propose an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that places term limits on Congress.

They know Congress is broken and needs to be fixed.

They know the country is suffering and the people and state lawmakers — from all political ideologies — must band together for a congressional intervention.

“Term limits would replace the smirking class with the working class,” wrote Toomey and Rendell.

We couldn’t agree more. Let’s work on something our country is united behind and increase faith in government. Let’s place term limits on Congress. Read the article here
