Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is an international airport 3 miles south of downtown Washington, D.C. in Arlington County, Virginia. Two Del Norte County Supervisors, Chris Howard and Gerry Hemmingsen were joined by Crescent City Mayor, Blake Inscore in what, some hope, is an important journey to the heart of political machinations.
What do they hope to accomplish? Is it worth the money spent in taxpayers monies in light of this weeks 2 x 2 meeting where both the City and the County talked about going broke and combining services as a cost cutting solution? That remains to be seen.
Here’s their itinerary as prepared by our $72,000/year Lobbyist Group: VAN SCOYOC and ASSOCIATES:

Well the loan forgiveness meeting is more than likely for the benefit of Supervisor Lori Cowan. Why, because the Tri-Agency couldn’t make their payment on the $270,000 loan left over from the Micro-Brewery scandal.
Not one Republican are they meeting with; which is the majority of the house and who controls the house. All democrats just blowing expensive smoke up their asses.
My guess King Howard, Humpty Dumpty Hemmingsen, and Preacher man Inscore are enjoying their food, hotels, and sight seeing but, unless there is a pulpit nearby to watch Inscore preach, I doubt anything will be accomplished EXCEPT, spending taxpayer funds unnecessarily.
Really????

REALLY you’re going to have a meeting AND get to another building in DC in 30 minutes AND accomplish anything?
Short bus Politicians on the Short bus news LMAO!
I do not think the expense to the county and city is worth it. If Caltrans has already started the geotechnical/environmental studies, why exactly are we doing it? In this age of technology, we have teleconferencing and videoconferencing available. Why this is not used here for any small meeting out of the area escapes me. This seems like a very ambitious agenda; seems like walking from building to building, going through security, and up floors to meet with these folks would take hours alone.
